The Documentation theme supports automatic and manual light/dark mode, helping users read comfortably in any environment.
🌗 How It Works:
- Automatic Mode
By default, the theme adapts to the user’s system preference (light or dark). - Manual Toggle
A toggle switch is available in the header, letting users override system settings.
⚙️ Customization Options (Customizer):
- Go to Documentation from sidebar
- Toggle light/dark mode behavior:
- Auto-detect system preference
- Always Light
- Always Dark
- Upload a separate logo for dark mode (optional)
🌈 Styling Considerations:
- Color schemes are optimized for readability
- Icons and images adapt to maintain contrast
- Code blocks and tables are styled for both modes
🌓 Pro Tip: Add a tooltip to the toggle switch so users know it’s for dark mode!
